About Us

The
Fin-Dicators:

Surfin' Rock. The Fin-Dicators are a surf/instro influenced band focusing on surf rock. We write and record original Surf Rock as well as play some cover instrumental tunes when we play live. The band is located in Central New Jersey. Tom and Bill started collaborating on instro surf in late 2003 while playing in other bands. Now with Gary and Scott, The Fin-Dicators are ready to share their well kept, reverb-drenched secret. Imagine ripping fast tremelo, or sweetly played melodies, all with a tip of the sun visor to summer and good times "down the shore."

"Surf Rock, you mean like the Beach Boys"? Well yes, but they sing a little more than we do. Actually we don't sing at all, thus the beauty of  instrumental Surf Rock. I guess its our job to bring this high-energy type of music around to people and expose them to what we love to play.  "Oh, you mean like Wipeout"? Well, we don't usually put Wipeout on our setlist but people usually request it so we almost always play it.
