Wootton Bassett Hockey Club runs 3 ladies teams, 2 mens teams and a junior section for ages 5 to 16. Our home is at Wootton Bassett School where the facilities provide us with one of the best Astroturf pitches in the league.
Our Ladies 1st XI is one of the strongest teams in the area and play in West Clubs Premier Division 2, our Ladies 2nd XI and 3rd XIs play in Severn Divisions 2 & 3. Our Mens 1st XI plays in Wilts & NE Somerset Division 1 and our Mens 2nd XI is in the Wilts Development League. Our Youth development programme continues to thrive, with coaching sessions every Sunday morning. Last season our U-11 girls were winners of the North Wilts Tournament and the numerous U-16s who now play regularly in our senior teams are testament to the success of this programme. Our Ladies 3rd XI and Mens 2nd XI teams provide opportunities for competitive hockey for our veterans together with accelerated development opportunities for our junior players. We are actively seeking NEW PLAYERS of all ages. If you are interested in playing or would like to know more, please contact one of the club officials (click here for details).
